This Trivet has little dots all over the top. The trivet is good for holding a Cast Iron tea pot once it has had hot water in it. They are 5.5" from side to side, the bottom is also rubber.
Warning: Do not heat your water up with your Cast Iron tea pot, It is made to hold and steep your tea not to be put on a burner.
